BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 15. In Azerbaijan, the production of paint and varnish products totaled 11,829 tons from January through June 2024, marking a 3.6 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2023, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, production of propylene in the reporting period amounted to 69,600 tons, which is 13.2 percent less than the indicator for the same period in 2023.

In 2023, Azerbaijan produced 153,100 tons of propylene, 162,800 tons of polyethylene, 165,600 tons of ethylene, 208,100 tons of iodine, and 21.627 million cubic meters of nitrogen.
