BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 9. The tally of employment contracts in Azerbaijan has soared past 1.88 million as of December 1, 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's state tax authority under the Ministry of Economy shows that this figure has increased by 482,190 compared to the beginning of 2019.
In addition, in the private non-oil sector, the number of employment contracts increased by 450,210 compared to 2019 and amounted to more than 990,134.
As of January 1, 2024, the total number of employment contracts in Azerbaijan stood at 1.8 million.
