BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. The tanker 'Lachin', sailing in foreign waters under the flag of Azerbaijan, has made a total of 68 calls to various ports over the past five years, Trend reports via Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO).
According to the information, within these voyages, the vessel carried 415,135 tons of oil and oil products.
Tanker “Lachin” has six cargo tanks with a total capacity of 9,190 cubic meters. The tanker is 141 meters long and 16.9 meters wide and moves at a speed of 10 nautical knots per hour. It was one of the top 50 civilian ships in the world, built in 2019, based on the British Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) list.
The commissioning ceremony of the tanker, built at Baku Shipyard LLC under the order of ASCO, was held on December 13, 2019, with the participation of the head of state.
