ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 21. Kazakhstan exported IT services worth $471 million in the first nine months of 2024, said the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiev, during a government meeting, Trend reports.

According to the minister, this amount represents a 26 percent increase compared to the corresponding time in 2023. The entire year of 2024 is also anticipated to provide impressive outcomes. According to the ministry's projection, exports of IT services might reach around $700 million.

Astana Hub plays a key role in promoting Kazakhstan's IT exports. The number of residents in the hub has exceeded 1,500 companies, including 400 international ones. Their total revenue reached 620 billion tenge (1.18 billion) in 2024. Of this, export income amounted to 227 billion tenge, or $479 million.

Additionally, the export geography of Astana Hub residents covers more than 90 countries. In addition to the residents of Astana Hub, GovTech products of the National Information Technologies JSC have also made their first exports. Among these solutions are the Smart Data Ukimet and Smart Bridge platforms.
