BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. Azerbaijan's production of power transformers saw a considerable rise last year, with a total of 1,132 units manufactured.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee indicates that this represents an increase of 328 units, or 40.8 percent, compared to the same period in 2023, when the country produced 804 transformers.
Overall, the total value of electrical equipment produced in Azerbaijan reached 251.9 million manat ($148.1 million) in 2024, marking an increase of 36.5 million manat ($21.4 million), or almost 16.9 percent, compared to 2023.
