BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 27. A total of 320 million liters of oil and petroleum products are loaded and transported in different directions in Iran daily, Operational Manager of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Nematulla Najafi, told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, company specialists continue their work to continue this process.
He added that currently 37 million liters of oil and petroleum products are being loaded in Iran's Mahshahr port.
The mentioned volume of oil and oil products is transported in different directions by means of 1,137 tankers.
The company official pointed out that before this, approximately 24.5 million liters of oil and petroleum products were loaded daily in this port.
Najafi said that approximately 10 million liters of gasoline are loaded daily at the Shahid Rajai oil depot for transportation to various destinations.
To note, a total of 74 oil fields and 22 gas fields are currently operating in Iran. There are 37 oil fields in the territory of the National Company of Iran's Southern Oil Zones, 14 in the territory of the Iranian Central Oil Zones Company, five in the territory of the Arvandan Oil and Gas Production Company, and 18 in the territory of the Offshore Oil Company. Additionally, the South Oil Zones National Company of Iran operates five gas fields, the Central Oil Zones Company operates 13, the Pars Oil and Gas Company operates one, and the Offshore Oil Company operates three.
