BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 1. The circulation
speed of the Azerbaijani manat stood at 3.45 points as of January
1, 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) shows
that this is 0.12 points (3.4 percent) lower than December 1 and
0.03 points (0.9 percent) less than January 1, 2024.
Meanwhile, the manat’s circulation speed on December 1 stood at
3.57 points, while on January 1, 2024, it was 3.48 points.
CBA statistics show that the lowest circulation speed of the
manat in the past 17 years was recorded at the end of January 2015,
at 2.68 points, while the highest level was in 2005, at 15.72
points.
