BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. As many as 58,024 families owning share lands not provided with ownership documents were issued extracts at the expense of state funds, and 384,760 state acts were replaced with extracts by the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy from October 2021 to this March in accordance with decree No. 1455 on "Certain issues over regulation of land relations" dated October 7, 2021 of the President of Azerbaijan, a source in the service told Trend.
Per the referenced material, the objective is to enhance the socio-economic welfare of the populace, facilitate agricultural advancement, and optimize the advantages of subsidies for farmers, while also empowering citizens to leverage their property rights with greater efficacy and to access services in a more streamlined and user-friendly manner.
To note, on February 28, 2025, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made amendment to clause 2.1 of the decree No. 1455 on "Regulating Land Relations" dated October 7, 2021. The prior iteration of this decree delineated the allocation of agricultural subsidies for land users predicated on the extract from the state real estate registry concerning land ownership, lease, or use rights commencing January 1, 2027. However, pursuant to the recent amendment, this timeline has been protracted to January 1, 2025.
