BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 22. The number of foreign non-cash transactions made with payment cards in Azerbaijan reached 6.4 million units, and the volume amounted to 270 million manat ($159.3 million) in January of this year.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijwan shows that the number by 1.1 million units or 20.7 percent, and the volume - by 11 million manat ($6.5 million) or 4.2 percent compared to the same month in 2024.
The number of foreign non-cash transactions with payment cards in Azerbaijan in January 2024 totaled 5.3 million units and the volume amounted to 259 million manat ($152.3 million).
