ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 16. Batumi Oil Terminal LLC and Batumi Sea Port LLC summarized the results of the 2024 procurement campaign, which resulted in a total savings of 21 percent of the planned volume due to tenders, Trend reports via KazTransOil.
This result was achieved through a set of measures aimed at improving the efficiency of procurement activities.
“Among the key factors are systematic analysis of market prices, selection of the most competitive supply terms, as well as active interaction with potential suppliers to obtain favorable prices and additional discounts. In addition, direct procurement from manufacturers and authorized distributors played a significant role,” said the message from KazTransOil.
The company noted that a significant step in enhancing transparency and operational efficiency in procurement was the introduction of a modern electronic trading platform. The new digital tool simplified procedures, accelerated decision-making, and increased openness in procurement processes.
KazTransOil JSC directly manages assets in Georgia through Batumi Oil Terminal LLC, which also has exclusive rights to manage 100 percent of the shares in Batumi Sea Port LLC.
