BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 30. Azerbaijan received a total of 111.5 million manat ($65.5 million) via remittance systems to banks in the country in March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan indicates that this figure is 35.8 million manat ($21 million), or 24.3 percent, lower compared to the same period in 2024 (147.3 million manat ($86.6 million)).
To note, Azerbaijan received 319.7 million manat ($188 million) via remittance systems from January through March 2025. This represents a contraction of 145.5 million manat ($85.5 million), equating to a reduction of 31.3 percent relative to the corresponding timeframe in 2024, during which the figure stood at 465.2 million manat ($273.6 million).
