BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Azerbaijan produced 55,100 tons of fuel oil (mazut) from January through April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this marks an increase of 54,100 tons, or 55.1 times compared to the same period in 2024 (1,000 tons).
Moreover, the country’s finished product reserves totaled 800 tons as of May 1, 2025.
The total value of oil product production in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.6 billion manat ($941.1 million) during the reporting period, marking a 9.9 percent decline compared to the corresponding period last year.
