BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 22. The number and volume of mortgage loans issued under the state-backed Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) have been disclosed.
Data obtained by Trend from the MCGF indicates that a total of 54,420 mortgage loans have been granted through the fund since its establishment.
The total amount of mortgage loans issued using the fund’s resources has reached around 3.5 billion manat ($2 billion).
In addition, loans supported by guarantees and subsidies amounted to 549.4 million manat ($323.1 million).
Furthermore, 7,036 residential units have been provided for tenants’ use.
