PremiumAzerbaijan’s farm exports gain momentum in 1Q2025

Data obtained by Trend from the Agricultural Research Center indicates that this represents a 1.8 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Over the same timeframe, the total value of agricultural production at current prices reached nearly 2.34 billion manat ($1.37 billion), with livestock accounting for 91.7 percent of this output and the crop sector making up the remaining 8.3 percent, or about 194 million manat ($114.1 million).

The added value generated in agriculture, forestry, and fishing represented 3.3 percent of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) during the reporting period.
