BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 28. The turnover rate of Azerbaijan’s national currency, the manat, stood at 3.33 points as of May 1, 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank (CBA) indicates that this represents a decrease of 0.03 points, or 0.9 percent, compared to April 1, and a slight drop of 0.01 points, or 0.3 percent, compared to the same period last year.
For context, the manat’s turnover rate was 3.36 points on April 1 and 3.34 points on May 1, 2024.
The CBA’s statistics show that the lowest turnover rate in the past 17 years was recorded in January 2015, when it reached 2.68 points. The highest turnover rate in the same period was recorded in 2005, reaching 15.72 points.
