BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. Azerbaijan produced 56,600 tons of fuel oil from January through May 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates
that the aggregate volume reached 55,600 tons, surpassing the
previous year's metric of a mere 1,000 tons—representing a
substantial escalation of 56.6-fold.
Furthermore, the national inventory of processed fuel oil was
recorded at 1,900 tons as of June 1, 2025.
Alongside the contraction in gasoline yield, Azerbaijan's aggregate
production valuation within the hydrocarbon derivatives sector
reached upwards of 2 billion manat ($1.1 billion) during the
specified reporting interval—reflecting a 5.2 percent regression
relative to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal
year.
