ASTANA, Kazakhstan, June 20. From September 2024 to June 18, 2025, Kazakhstan exported 8.7 million tons of new crop grain, marking a 58.7 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023-2024, Trend reports, citing the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
The substantial escalation in export metrics underscores robust
global demand for Kazakhstani grain and accentuates the efficacy of
governmental strategies aimed at diversifying export channels and
optimizing logistical frameworks.
Established markets continue to dominate procurement: Uzbekistan
sourced 3.1 million tons (+30.3 percent), Tajikistan acquired 1.2
million tons (+46.1 percent), Afghanistan secured 285,000 tons (+37
percent), and Kyrgyzstan obtained 209,000 tons (+85.5 percent).
Concurrently, alternative market segments exhibit significant
expansion dynamics. Exports to Iran experienced a remarkable
escalation, increasing by a factor of 17.2 to reach a substantial
volume of 963,000 tons, while shipments to Azerbaijan exhibited an
extraordinary growth trajectory, amplifying 116.6 times to attain a
total of 696,000 tons.
