PremiumKazakhstan, Russia to sign agreement on nuclear power plant

Kazakhstan is preparing to sign an intergovernmental agreement with Russia on the construction of its first nuclear power plant. The project will be based on a preferential loan from the Russian government and could begin construction within seven years.
