BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. The aggregate valuation of Azerbaijan's non-oil export portfolio surpassed the $2 billion threshold during the period spanning January through July 2025, Trend reports, citing the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).
Per the insights from AZPROMO, the non-oil export sector has achieved a remarkable valuation of $2.1 billion, reflecting an impressive 11 percent uptick relative to the corresponding timeframe of the previous fiscal year. In the month of July, the valuation of non-oil exports reached an impressive $333.9 million, demonstrating a robust 20 percent increase compared to the previous year.
AZPROMO was founded in 2003 by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan to facilitate foreign investment in the non-oil industry and promote exports of non-oil products. The agency's primary objective is to enhance the nation's economy by soliciting international investment and fostering exports in the non-oil sector. To date, the agency has conducted 33 export trips to international destinations under the "Made in Azerbaijan" initiative.
