BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. The number of passengers using the Baku metro services from January through August of this year stood at 142.6 million.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this figure decreased by 2.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the country's transport sector, freight and passenger traffic increased by 2.8 percent and 5.1 percent, respectively, from January through August 2025 compared to the same period of last year.
