BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. Azerbaijan’s social protection and social security expenditures are set at 4.8 billion manat ($2.8 billion) in 2026.
The data obtained by Trend from the Ministry of Finance shows that this marks a 2.55 percent growth compared to the approved forecast for 2025.
Meanwhile, a total of 4.4 billion manat ($2.59 billion) was allocated in Azerbaijan for social protection and social security expenditures in last year's state budget.
