BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. The Azerbaijan Business Development Fund (ABDF) has provided 249.1 million manat ($146.5 million) in preferential loans from January through September 2025, supporting the financing of 4,590 projects.
Data obtained by Trend from the Entrepreneurship Development Fund indicates that these loans are expected to create 3,500 new jobs, contributing significantly to the country’s economic growth and employment opportunities.
The ABDF was established under a presidential decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev in 2021, merging the Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy and the Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) to strengthen business support and investment initiatives.
