Iranian "Machin Sazi Arak" machine making company has achieved titanium welding technology, Fars news agency reported.
This achievement would allow Iran to save foreign currency in the amount of $7 million on importing relevant materials from other countries.
Titanium weld is implemented on titanium exchangers, which used in oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Welded titanium pipe and process equipment (heat exchangers, tanks, process vessels, valves) are used primarily for corrosion resistance.
