The Azerbaijani metallurgy industry and enterprises produced goods and rendered services in the amount of 349.1 million manat in 2015, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee's report as of 2015 says.
The production volume of the metallurgy industry decreased by four percent, while the production of finished products increased by 54.1 percent.
Armature production in the country amounted to 223,000 tons in 2015, which is 11.1 percent less than in 2014.
During the reported period, steel pipes were made in the amount of 29,900 tons, which is 16.8 percent less than in 2014.
The cast steel production volume amounted to 302,200 tons in the country during this period, which is 6.8 percent less than in 2014.
Azerbaijan exported 10.490 tons of black metal pipes (over $8,762) in 2015, which is 62 percent less (in monetary terms - 68.4 percent) compared to 2014.
