First ingot of gold at the gold recovery plant at Kyrgyzstan’s Jeruy Field gold field is to be produced in 3Q2020, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakhstan’s Development Bank.
The plant, which was in construction since 2018 is being constructed by Kazakhstan’s AAEngineering Group LLP company. The construction should be completed in 2020.
The project is implemented in full compliance with International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC). The company’s customer for the project is a subsidiary of Russian Platinum Group of Companies, which is one of the leading producers of platinum group metals in the world.
Kazakhstan’s Development Bank issued Bank guarantees to the total amount of $37.7 million to support the project’s implantation.
Currently, the construction work on the plant is 97 percent complete. During the final stage of construction of the plant, i.e in 3Q2020, the first ingot of gold is to be received.
In the future, AAEngineering Group LLP is planning to increase its presence in foreign markets.
In particular,negotiations are underway for the construction of a gold recovery plant in 2020 at Jamgyr Field, which is also located in Kyrgyzstan. The customer for the project’s implementation is Global Asia Mining registered in the UK.
