Iran's aluminum ingots production increased by 47 percent in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 20-April 19, 2020) compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation (IMIDRO).
According to the report, in total, more than 30,000 tons of aluminum ingots were produced by Iranian Aluminium Company, Al Mahdi Aluminium Company, Hormozal Aluminium Company and Iran Alumina Company.
“The production of these companies was 20,400 tons in the same month last Iranian year,” report said.
According to the report, the Iranian Aluminium Company produced 16,100 tons and the Hormozal Aluminum Company produced 6,800 tons of aluminum ingots.
“Al Mahdi Aluminium Company produced 5,400 tons, and Iran Alumina Company produced 1,600 tons of aluminum ingots,” report added.
According to the report, the Iran Alumina Company produced 20,800 tons of aluminum oxide in the first month, a 14 percent increase compared to the same month last Iranian year (18,200 tons).
