BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 5. The volume of revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan from lease of state property amounted to 17.8 million manat ($10.5 million) in the first half of 2024, Trend reports.
Data from the State Service on Property Issues under
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy shows that this figure grew 10.1
percent year-on-year.
Meanwhile, 308 new lease agreements for non-residential premises
were concluded, which brought 3.3 million manat ($1.9 million) to
the state budget.
At the same time, from January through June 2024, 1,518 new land lease agreements were concluded, which made it possible to replenish the budget in the amount of 14.5 million manat ($8.5 million).
In general, in the first half of this year, 1,826 new lease agreements for non-residential premises and land plots were concluded, which is 4.88 percent more than the same period in 2023.
