Iran's Jam Petrochemical Company plans to produce more than 2.7 million tons of products in the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), Member of the Board of Jam Petrochemical Company Ebrahim Saghayi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
The official noted that the company plans to produce about 1.2 million tons of ethylene.
“In addition, the company plans to produce about 660,000 tons of polymeric substances,” he added.
Saghayi stressed that the company will also produce 1.25 million tons of chemicals.
According to him, the company's production was 2.7 million tons in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021).
The official said that at the same time, the company's exports increased by 15 percent in the last Iranian year.
Reportedly, Iran’s Jam Petrochemical Company produces butadiene, butene, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and olefin products.
