TEHRAN, Iran, July 5. Iran's parliament is facilitating investment in the power industry by approving a plan to reduce problems in power plant development, said member of the parliament's energy commission Hadi Beyginejad, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He said the mentioned plan will tackle the current problems of the Iranian power industry, help attract investments into the industry's development.
Beyginejad went on to say that investments in new power plants will improve production and prevent further power outages in the summer.
According to the MP, the bill will become law after the parliament reforms the remaining article and Guardian Council approves it.
