ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 7. The State Concern Türkmennebit has demonstrated consistent growth, making a significant contribution to the development of Turkmenistan's oil sector, said Deputy Prime Minister Batir Amanov during a government meeting, Trend reports.
According to information, he presented the results of the sector's performance for the period from January through March 2025 at the meeting.
The data from the report indicates that the oil production target for the period was exceeded, reaching 107.1 percent. This achievement reflects the effectiveness of the concern's operations and the implementation of modern technologies aimed at increasing productivity. Strong results were also recorded in the oil refining sector, with the plan being fulfilled at 107.1 percent. Gasoline production reached 102 percent of the planned volume, diesel fuel production was at 100.8 percent, polypropylene at 100.1 percent, and lubricating oils at 100.4 percent.
Türkmennebit plays a key role in the country's fuel and energy system. It not only ensures stable extraction of hydrocarbon resources but also actively develops refining infrastructure, contributing to the strengthening of Turkmenistan's export potential.
A strategically important asset in the sector's development is the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR). The enterprise actively participates in tasks related to deep oil refining and the expansion of the range of products produced. Modern technological solutions are being implemented at TCOR, which improves the quality of fuels, polymers, and other products in demand both domestically and on international markets.
