The net profit of the Georgian Cartu Bank nearly halved, amounting to 26,204 lari in 2018, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
This amount was 49,718 lari in 2017.
In 2018, the bank's interest incomedecreased from 99,520 lari in 2017 to 91,686 lari in 2018. Net fee and commission income for the whole year amounted to 6,803 lari.
In 2018, the net profit of Pasha Bank Georgia halved and amounted to 2.573 million lari. In 2017, the bank's net profit amounted to 4.007 million lari.
The interest income of the bank from loans amounted to 13.791 million lari in 2018, while the amount reached 10.833 million lari in 2017.
According to the report, Pasha Bank made a profit of 50,017 lari in 2018, showing a significant decrease compared to 2017 (166,427 lari), mainly due to fines imposed on the bank.
