Goldenpay, a payment system in Azerbaijan, has postponed the launch of the "Mobile POS Terminal" solution to 2019, the company told Trend.
The solution turns any Android device into a full-fledged POS terminal for receiving non-cash payments. It is designed for small retail outlets, for which it is unprofitable to purchase POS terminals from banks, as well as it is unprofitable for banks to equip small outlets with these devices.
"So far, our efforts are focused on expanding the functions of the hesab.az website and mobile application. We have recently launched an updated interface of hesab.az and a new service that allows users to automatically pay for services," the company stated.
