BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. Azerbaijan received 341,832 tourists from Türkiye from January through November 2023, which is 20.58 percent higher than the figure for the same period of 2022, that made up 283,493 tourists, Trend reports on Friday.
A total of 1,893,679 tourists visited Azerbaijan in the reporting period (an increase of 29.81 percent over the year).
Overall 1,602,600 international tourists visited Azerbaijan in 2022, which is more than double the figure for 2021 (790,062), and 446,831 people from Türkiye, which is 4.75 times the figure for 2021 (15,516).
A total of 1,579,081 people arrived from Türkiye to Azerbaijan in 2017-2022 ( 2017 - 301,553; 2018 - 291,259; 2019 - 316,404; 2020 - 160,513; 2021 - 197,472 and 2022 - 311,880 tourists).
