Some 882 cars were sold in Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2021, down 43.6 percent year on year, Trend reports on May 16 referring to Focus2Move, a global consulting agency specializing on auto sector.
According to the agency, most of the cars were sold in March 2021 - 313, which is 22.3 percent less than in the same month of 2020.
In January, this figure was 285, which is 55.3 percent less than in the same period last year. In February, the sales fell by 45.9 percent to 284 vehicles.
"The only car brand to see sales growth was Renault. Its sales rose 8.6 percent. The largest declines were recorded among Naz-Lifan at 63.6 percent and Mercedes at 71.4 percent," added the agency.
