ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 14. Kazakhstan’s economy has seen a solid performance in the first nine months of 2025, with GDP growth reaching 6.3 percent, the country's Vice Minister of National Economy, Azamat Amrin, said at a Government meeting, Trend reports.
Amrin highlighted that the real sector of the economy grew by 8.1 percent, while the services sector expanded by 5.3 percent.
''Among key sectors, trade surged by 8.8 percent, manufacturing increased by 6.2 percent, and agriculture saw a 4.4 percent rise. Amrin pointed out that more than 70 percent of the GDP growth was driven by industry, trade, and transportation.
In addition, investments in fixed capital increased by 13.5 percent, reaching 13.8 trillion tenge ($25.6 billion), which further boosted the country's economic performance,'' he emphasized.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Kazakhstan’s economy showed strong growth in 2024, with a 4.8 percent increase in GDP compared to the previous year in real terms. The country’s total GDP for the year reached 134.2 trillion tenge (approximately $249.6 billion).
