Turkmenistan will complete the construction of the Garlyk mining and processing plant for potash fertilizer production after a year, reports the 'Neutral Turkmenistan' newspaper.
In the future the new complex, which is being built jointly with Belarusian Belgorkhimprom JSC since 2009, will help not only provide the country's agriculture with ecology friendly potash fertilizers, but also exporting annually more than one million tons of the potash fertilizers.
The Garlyk plant, which is to have a capacity of 1.4 million tons of potash fertilizers a year, will be the largest such plant in the Central Asia.
