BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 8. The revenues of Turkmenistan's state budget exceeded the initial forecast from January through April 2023 by 15.4 percent, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on May 4.
According to him, the expenditure part of the state budget was fulfilled by 97.5 percent, and the volume of disbursed investments at the expense of all sources of financing increased by 13.1 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
Meanwhile, the meeting summed up the results of the government's work in the economic sphere for four months of this year, reviewed a number of draft documents and discussed priority tasks of socio-economic development of the country.
