TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 9. According to preliminary data, Uzbekistan produced 1.7 million tons of grapes from January through December 2023, Trend reports.

The data of Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency shows that this indicator amounted to 98.7 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan produced more than 1.7 million tons of grapes from January through December 2022, increasing by 3.9 percent, compared to the reporting period in 2021.

In 2022, Uzbekistan exported 318,900 tons of grapes worth $280.1 million during the corresponding period.

This figure increased by 34.4 percent compared to the figure of 2022. Some 24.7 percent of the export share fell on grape export (including dried ones).

Furthermore, according to preliminary estimates, the total volume of Uzbekistan's agricultural output amounted to 404.6 trillion soums ($32.7 billion) in 2023.
