TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 17. The fuel oil imports to Uzbekistan amounted to 843,600 tons for $334.9 million from January through July 2024, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan's Customs Committee, when compared to the same period last year, this metric shows a gain of 102.5 percent (416,400 tons in January–July 2023).
Uzbekistan’s fuel oil imports declined to 93,500 tons in July 2024, compared to 123,500 tons in June 2024.
In addition, Uzbekistan's imports of crude oil and petroleum products amounted to $455.6 million during this period.
Meanwhile, the oil, petroleum products, and similar materials trade turnover in Uzbekistan amounted to $1.3 billion from January through June 2024. This figure indicates a 30 percent growth compared to the same period last year ($1 billion in January–June 2023).
The exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials from Uzbekistan totaled $285.4 million from January through June 2024, while the imports reached $1.1 billion.
