TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 31. Uzbekistan exported 108,700 tons of grapes abroad for a total of $96 million from January through September 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country’s Statistics Agency shows that the recorded value grew by 50.9 percent growth compared to the same period last year (63,600 tons).
At the same time, the total volume of grape exports increased by 12 percent year-over-year.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan exported 1.4 million tons of fruit and vegetables worth $792.3 million in the first nine months of 2024. This figure has increased by 7.6 percent compared to the same period last year (1.3 million tons).
Exports of horticultural products accounted for 5.3 percent of the total exports of Uzbekistan.
Russia accounted for the largest volume of agricultural product exports from Uzbekistan, with a total volume of 618,900 tons worth $467.3 million.
