TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, December 29. Uzbekistan exported 205,500 tons of grapes for a total of $174.7 million from January through November 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country’s Statistics Agency shows that the recorded volume grew by 69.8 percent compared to the same period last year (121,000 tons).
Concurrently, the aggregate tonnage of grape exports contracted to 31,500 tons in November 2024, a significant reduction from the preceding figure of 65,300 tons recorded in October 2024.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan exported 1.89 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth $1.41 billion from January through November 2024. This figure increased by 15.9 percent compared to the same period last year (1.63 million tons from January through November 2023).
Russia became the largest importer of agricultural products from Uzbekistan, with a total volume of 776,500 tons worth $595.2 million.
