BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. Iran's mining exports totaled 30.5 million (30,477,538) tons worth $6.33 billion during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024).

The data obtained by Trend from the country's Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) shows that Iran's mining exports decreased by 1 percent in value and 0.05 percent in weight during six months compared to the same period of last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023).

Iran's mining exports totaled 30.9 million (30,492,125) tons worth $6.4 billion in the same period last year.

Iran imported 2.13 million tons of mining products worth $4.61 billion during the six-month period. Imports of products increased by 55 percent in value and decreased by 19 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.

However, Iran exported 70 million tons of non-oil products worth $25.8 billion during six months. Compared to the same period last year, the export of products increased by 6.5 percent in value and 3.5 percent in weight.

To note, Iran imported $32.6 billion worth of non-oil products during the mentioned period.
