BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. The number of trips of Turkish citizens to Russia for the purpose of employment has increased significantly from January through February 2022, General Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) told Trend.
The number of Turkish citizens who visited Russia through ISKUR from January through February 2022 increased 7.4 times compared to the same period of last year - up to 448.
A total of 2,397 Turkish citizens went abroad through ISKUR during the reporting period, which is 48.1 percent more than the same period of 2021.
Toatal of 86,595 Turkish citizens were provided with jobs through ISKUR in February 2022 and 99.6 percent of job seekers got jobs in the private sector.
The number of unemployed in Turkey amounted to 3.18 million, 49.8 percent of which were women, 50.2 percent were men in February 2021.
Some 87,681 Turkish citizens were provided with jobs through ISKUR, 58.7 percent of which were men and 41.3 percent were women and 98.9 percent of job seekers got jobs in the private sector in 2021.
The number of unemployed in Turkey was 3.17 million, of which 49.8 percent are women and 50.2 percent are men in 2021.
