BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 12. Türkiye's Iskenderun port received 3,927 vessels in 2023, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure said, Trend reports.
The ministry's data showed that, throughout this period, Iskenderun port welcomed 612 vessels under the flag of Türkiye, and 3,315 vessels under the flags of other countries.
Last year, the Turkish ports accommodated a total of 60,195 vessels, comprising 40,918 vessels registered under foreign flags and 19,277 vessels under the Turkish flag.
The ministry noted that in December last year, the ports of Türkiye received 4,697 vessels.
According to the information, during this period, the number of vessels accepted in the ports of Türkiye under the flags of other countries amounted to 3,190, and under the flag of Türkiye - 1,507.
