Russia's Novorossiysk International Trade Sea Port shipped 12.68 million tons of oil in Jan.-Feb. 2016, compared to 13.02 million tons in Jan.-Feb. 2015, the port said March 15.
Novorossiysk port shipped 5.76 million tons of oil products during this period compared to 5.56 million tons in Jan.-Feb. 2015.
The port handled 23.82 million tons of various cargo in Jan.-Feb. 2016 compared to 23.27 million tons handled during the same period in 2015.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) ships its oil through the Novorossiysk port. Oil is delivered there via Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline.
