On the first day of volleyball competitions, being held as part of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, Turkey’s male team had no problem handling Turkmenistan’s team.
Turkey, seen a favorite in Group A, won all three sets (25:16, 25:14, 25:22).
The Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games, the opening ceremony of which will take place May 12, started May 8 and will last until May 22 in Azerbaijan’s capital.
