Iran's product imports from Azerbaijan decrease

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. Iran's product imports from Azerbaijan decreased by 36.8 percent in value and 37.3 percent in weight during seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21, 2024 through October 22, 2023).

The data obtained by Trend from the country's Customs Administration shows that Iran's imports of products from Azerbaijan amounted to 8,770 tons worth $19.2 million for seven months.

The statistics show that for the same period last year, Iran imported 14,000 tons of products worth about $30.4 million from Azerbaijan.

The information indicates that Iran imported various equipment, pressed soybeans, different types of profiles, and other products from Azerbaijan.

According to statistics, Iran's non-oil trade with Azerbaijan for seven months amounted to 524,000 tons worth $422 million.

To note, Iran's imports of non-oil products for seven months amounted to 21.7 million tons worth $40.5 billion.
