BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. Azerbaijan brought in products valued at $389 million from North Macedonia in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee indicates that this figure grew by $221,000, or 2.3 times compared to the same month in 2024 when the import from North Macedonia was valued at $168,000.
Imports of products from North Macedonia made up a mere drop in the bucket, accounting for just 0.02 percent of Azerbaijan's total imports.
Furthermore, during this timeframe, Azerbaijan did not engage in
any export activities to North Macedonia.
In the interim, Azerbaijan's aggregate foreign trade turnover for
January 2025 escalated to $5.9 billion, reflecting an uptick of
$2.1 billion, or 70.5 percent, relative to the preceding year,
during which the foreign trade turnover was recorded at $2.9
billion.
