BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 21. Azerbaijan imported aluminum and aluminum products worth $130.4 million from January through July 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee indicates that
this signifies a surge of $34.7 million, equating to a 36.2 percent
escalation, relative to the corresponding timeframe of the previous
fiscal year. During the reporting period, the proportion of
imported aluminum and associated commodities constituted 0.96
percent of the aggregate import volume.
Furthermore, Azerbaijan engaged in the exportation of aluminum and
aluminum derivatives, achieving a valuation of $118.5 million, with
a cumulative weight of 41,800 tons. In juxtaposition to the
corresponding timeframe of the preceding fiscal year, export
metrics experienced a marginal contraction of $332,000, translating
to a decrement of 0.3 percent in monetary valuation, alongside a
reduction of 2,700 tons, equating to a 6.1 percent decline in
volumetric output.
