BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 1. Hydrogeological research has been launched in the Lachin district, Trend reports.
The project covers the inspection and assessment of the Minkand-Ahmadli thermal-mineral water deposit, calculation of its reserves, and evaluation of its usage prospects. In addition, the groundwater reserves of the Mil plain will be re-assessed.
The Geological Exploration Agency under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has finalized the preparatory work related to these activities. Execution of the project has been entrusted to “Hydro-Geo Environnement Group” Limited Liability Company (LLC), with which a contract has been signed.
In line with the agreement, the company has been allocated 254,700 manat ($149,825) for carrying out the research. The “Hydro-Geo Environnement Group” LLC, registered in 2018 with a charter capital of 10 manats, is legally represented by Saleh Seyfullayev.
